Dan Brown

My first set of books that i bought in Jarir Bookstore in Pepsi road in Riyadh KSA two years ago.I was really surprised that they have it here in the kingdom they also translated it to arabic so it means to say arabs also are reading his books.Im a big fan of Dan Brown.I love his creation and he is a true genius. What i really liked about all his books are the setting you will have a glimpse of Vatican,Spain,Louvre Museum and other beautiful historical places as if your having a tour around the place.I also love the plot and the unbelievable twist of the story.
Dan Brown (born June 22, 1964) is an American author of thriller fiction, best known for the 2003 bestselling novel, The Da Vinci Code and the 2000 bestselling novel, Angels & Demons.Brown is interested in cryptography, keys, and codes, which are a recurring theme in his stories. Currently his novels have been translated into more than 40 languages.
Brown states on his website that his books are not anti-Christian, as he is a Christian himself, and says of his book The Da Vinci Code that it is simply "an entertaining story that promotes spiritual discussion and debate" and suggests that the book may be used "as a positive catalyst for introspection and exploration of our faith".

I also love Dan Brown. Especially ung Angels and Demons. Mas maganda pa sya (para sa akin ha) sa Da Vinci Code.

Ewan ko ba bakit ang simbahan made a lot of hoopla about his book (Da Vinci Code). Eh meron namang foreword na "Fiction based on historical facts". 'Di kaya merong sensitibong ugat na tina-an si Brown? It makes you thing if the church still has some skeletons hidden in their closets.

A very good choice of novels! I love Dan Brown too! And if you're into mystery adventure novels ala Dan Brown, try Steve Berry's books. They're not as riveting but they're also good reads. :)

(And Jarir Bookstore here is love! It's not as complete as National Bookstore and Powerbooks but it's enough for a bookworm like me.:)

Dear Mightydacz,
Justifications of various notions and beliefs are usually the next thing that follows when a good writer and novelist effectively hooked and brought us to their explorations. It makes their books sell by bringing us to the extreme recesses of their minds.. Good for us, we're learning from them and keep us hold on to what we believe is right.

i have both books of dan brown, pero nakatingga lang, busy kasi sa blog eh, hehe.

Pero marami akong nabasang books na, scott turros, jeffrey archer, john grisham, steve martin. All court dramas nga lang.

Whats good in reading is, it exercise our way of thinking, and discernments.Sabi nga nila,if one is a reader, he must be good in discussing...

And about the comment of blogusvox about church skeletons hidden in the cupboards, there is. They always have.
Lalo na, they dont tell all about the truth.

I love the first book he wrote na naging best seller, yung The Purpose Driven Life. After nun, di ko na masyado napagtuunan ng pansin dahil maliban sa naging busy, medyo naghigpit, pero I am planning to start reading the Angels and Demons after ng 8 Habits na currently I am on. Grabe, ang galing ni Dacz! I admire people na palabasa!
